On Tuesday, Reception were visited by Mr Archie from Little House of Science, who came to run a botany workshop. Our first task was to bash a spinach leaf in a piece of kitchen paper and find the chlorophyll within. The girls then had the opportunity to build their very own mini terrarium. Mr Archie told us that if we put our mini terrarium in a sunny spot and gave it some water, after a few days we would start to see our seeds sprouting and beginning to germinate. The girls had a wonderful and inspiring morning learning all about botany.
