ThisĀ  Friday, the Margaret Bowden MFL Poetry Competition took place, and we were delighted to welcome alumna Teresa de Oliveira as the judge. Students in years 7 to 9 competed in French, German, and Spanish, along with the highly popular “Poems Around the World” category, which featured languages such as Hawaiian, Persian, Japanese, and many more. The girls took the stage with confidence and panache, delivering exceptional performances that showcased their passion for poetry. Congratulations to all participants and winners, with a special mention to Sabrina Fleury, who won the overall prize for her fantastic renditions of poems in French and Spanish.
