The Higher Education Evening on Tuesday introduced students and their parents to the fantastic range of opportunities open to our Sixth Formers. We were delighted to host a talk from the London Interdisciplinary School, which takes a problem based learning approach to global issues and has partnerships with hundreds of businesses and corporations, preparing students for the world of work with a more joined up approach.

Julia Banks and Caroline Wilkes, joint Heads of Sixth Form, gave presentations on applying to UK universities via UCAS and on how to prepare for a medical school application, ably assisted by Sixth Form Ambassador Wala Awad. We also heard from two of our Oxford offer holders who assisted in a presentation led by Oxbridge Applications about applying to Oxford and Cambridge.

David Edes, our Head of Art and alumna Stella Ladanyi talked to Lower Sixth students interested in taking an Art Foundation course which can be carried out in preparation for applying for a variety or art and architecture degrees.

Thank you to all who attended – a very successful evening with a brilliant turn out.

Caroline Wilkes, Joint Head of Sixth Form and Head of Futures
