Last Saturday, we once again filled the playground with sunshine, colour, music, laughter and the smell of the most delicious food!
This year the theme was ‘Musicals’. The girls’ tunnel had been transformed into the most theatrical of entrances and the red carpet certainly made it feel very special indeed.
Once inside, the girls delighted in some exciting inflatables; a huge slide in the gym, a bouncy castle in the Senior Hall and this year, a huge hit amongst many, the Hungry Hippos in the playground.
Parents mingled, as some of the girls headed to perform in the Cats show, before watching the comedy show which was, by all accounts, very impressive indeed. Bath bombs were made, nails were painted, the neon disco was a real hit, and the cake walk was as popular as ever!
This event would not be possible without the army of helpers that come together each year and for this we are all so grateful. Again, this year the team was led by Mr David Cadwallader and the decorations by Mrs Alexandra Morgan. Thank you to the whole team!
Please follow this link for some more accounts of the day, written by some of the girls in Year 2.
