The Year 6 residential took place in 25 acres of idyllic Somerset countryside from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd June.

An excited and energetic cohort of girls bid farewell to their teary parents and boarded the coach headed for Mill on the Brue outdoor activity centre in Bruton. Dormitories of up to eight girls provided accommodation, where minimal sleep was to be had due to midnight feasts and animated chatter. The girls faced daily challenges; rafting down the River Brue, zip-lining across the treetops and ascending the terrifying ‘high-ropes’, to name but a few thrilling activities.

There were physical as well as emotional tests throughout the week. Each and every girl overcame their fears and returned safely home with countless memories and tales to tell.  A week of adventure and exhilaration ended with sad goodbyes.
