Hosted by the Friends of Francis Holland, the Junior Parents’ Quiz Night was an evening of true community spirit and fun! Yet again the food was plentiful and delicious as the parents were treated to a choice of Indian or Lebanese cuisines.
The aim was to raise funds for our International Junior School charity of the year, “Ripple Africa”, as well as purchasing gifts for the Junior School from the Giving Tree.
The Quiz, which revealed unprecedented levels of competitiveness amongst our parents, was certainly hotly contested. We are grateful to the parents who felt they needed an edge on their opponents by buying clues. It was a battle right to the bitter end with only a few points between the winner and second place!
Your generosity on the evening meant that we raised over £1,500 for Ripple Africa! Many parents also generously bought many items from the Giving Tree. Once purchased, these will go into the lessons to enhance the girls’ learning experiences.
