On Wednesday 13th and Friday 14th March, our Junior and Senior girls took part in the annual Gym and Dance Show.

Our Junior girls’ performances focused on environmental issues and addressed what we need to do to protect the future of our planet. Gym and dance routines were inspired by key issues that currently affect the different environments around the world, including “Acid Rain”, “Protecting Jungle Habitats”, “Melting Polar Ice Caps”, “Our Oceans” and “Preserving British Woodland”. All performances were set to a variety of musical genres.

Our Senior Gym and Dance Display followed the same environmental theme. With support from the FHS Environmental Society, spectators were educated on some of the key issues that we currently face in society. During the event, spectators were treated to performances from the Gymanstics Classes, Dance Club, Senior Gymanstics Squad as well as students performing in solos, duos and trios.

Our girls have been practising extremely hard and performed with professionalism, enthusiasm and cooperation.
