We’re excited to inform you that all pupils in the Junior and Senior Schools now have access to ‘Eplatform’. This is an online book platform for schools through which pupils can ‘borrow’ audiobooks and e-books. The audiobook and e-book libraries are for your daughters’ individual use, and for Class Teachers to listen to audiobooks together with the girls during Form Times. This week, in class, the teachers have shown the girls how to access and use Eplatform. Their individual logins have been stuck into the front of their homework diaries this week.
Please take note of the following points:
- There are age restrictions on titles
- All audiobooks have the headphones symbol attached to them, the e-books do not and therefore can only be read on screen
- The girls may ‘take out’ two books at a time
- After they have completed reading the book they should ‘return’ it asap so that someone else may borrow it
- Each book only has one or two copies available, usually for a two-week period
- Loans can be extended, as long as someone else hasn’t requested that title
