We are thrilled to announce that we are now the proud owners of a bronze replica of the Fearless Girl statue.

Generously donated to us by the Sarria family, this iconic statue was originally unveiled in New York’s financial district and famously faces off the ‘Charging Bull’ statue.

According to the artist, Kristen Visbal, “the original figure supports women in leadership positions, the empowerment of young women, women’s education, gender equality, the reduction of prejudice in the workplace through education, equal pay and general wellbeing of women. Fearless Girl has come to symbolise a global call for gender diversity in leadership and stands as inspiration and empowerment for women worldwide”. She is the first replica statue to be shipped over to the UK and one of only 1,000 that are due to be made so we are delighted to have been given this gift.

She may be small, but she is fearless and we hope she will be an inspiration to our pupils, especially considering that International Women’s Day takes place on 8th March! Thank you again to the Sarria family for this wonderful donation.
