On Thursday 16th March, the girls set out their wares in the school hall for the Entrepreneurial Fairs.
Each group or individual had a stall, whilst other students went round and ‘invested’ (with coloured card) in the business they most believed in. Judging the competition was our Head of Economics, Mrs Hyde, and entrepreneur Tony Laskar of Audience 2 Media, who also gave our girls some invaluable tips on starting your own business. He described the importance of self-belief, self-motivation and perseverance, and his own journey into entrepreneurship.
Very well done to our winners, who win £50 each and will both have pop up stalls in the summer term:
Y7 Locker Cleaning Company
Gabrielle Macleod-Nairn, Anais Kayser, Madeleine Sharp
Y8 We Are Lucky Bracelet Company
Sophie Sullivan, Amelia-Rose Pearl, Isabel Samuels
