The Smartest Giant in Town – Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Theatre Trip

On Thursday morning, amidst much anticipation, the infants set out to St. Martin’s Theatre to see The Smartest Giant in Town. The girls laughed and clapped along as the kindly giant in this magical children’s classic lent out his clothes to help various animals in need. It was a most warm-hearted production and a perfect Christmas treat for us all.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe – Years 3 to 6 Theatre Trip

Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 were transported to the magical world of Narnia on Thursday when they visited the theatre to watch ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’. The girls were mesmerised by the glorious music, imaginative set and spell-binding adventures of Peter, Edmund, Lucy and Susan, who, with the help of the infamous Aslan, go on a quest to defeat the wicked White Witch. The stage was cleverly created so that we all felt as if we were entering that magical wardrobe. The characters were brilliantly costumed with the wicked Ice Queen rising up to encapsulate the entire stage. The drama was magnificent.
