On Friday 29th March, students from Years 5 to 8 were incredibly lucky to have the author Sophie McKenzie launch her new novel ‘Becoming Jo’ at FHS.
A student panel that included girls from both the juniors and seniors asked Sophie questions they had prepared themselves. She is one of the best loved authors in the school – her most successful book Girl Missing has been loaned nearly 7000 times from the school library. The girls were incredibly excited to meet her and hear about her writing process and new book.
