A great week for netball in the Junior School!

U11 Netball v Queen’s Gate

On Monday afternoon, our Year 6 girls stepped up to the plate at the last minute to allow us to continue with our Netball fixture v Queen’s Gate. Our B team played very well with outstanding work from Olivia in centre court and at wing defence. The A team worked solidly to score 12 goals, demonstrating clear forward passing up the court. Despite a couple of quick changes due to injury, our team played seamlessly. An amazing goal was made by substitution Sofia G who came straight on to score immediately.

U9 Netball v Queen’s Gate

Year 4 travelled over the river to Battersea Park to play three back-to-back matches v Queen’s Gate. It was great to see our teams showing that their positional knowledge is improving, with some players really starting to settle into their positions. The A team won 2-0, B team won 1-0 and the C team lost 2-1 in a close match. Congratulations to Arabella, Ruby and Ella who were nominated as star players in their teams.
