GCSE Results

We are pleased to report that 39% of all grades awarded to this year’s GCSE cohort were grade 9 with 68% graded 9-8.  Huge congratulations to the Class of 2024!

This is the first year that grades have returned to 2019 levels following the Covid Pandemic, and this is reflected in the table below.  We are delighted with the success of this Year 11 cohort and look forward to welcoming the girls back into our Sixth Form.  Headline statistics can never convey the innumerable lessons and triumphs along the way, and this year group has shown impressive character, supported and guided by our able and committed teaching staff.

Each year we see exceptionally strong value-added performance at GCSE and A Level. Girls consistently achieve grades that are higher than those predicted by their baseline scores. At both GCSE and A Level, our public exam results are, on average, half a grade higher than the baseline predictions, consistently placing us amongst the leading independent school nationally by this measure and demonstrating the excellent quality of our teaching and learning.
