Year 7 had their first Careers Guidance lesson on Wednesday 8th January with Mrs Wilkes, Head of Futures.

We discussed what we mean by ‘values’ and how these might affect the types of career the girls might choose in the future. We talked about how their values had changed even over the last five years and how they may change again as they continue on their school journey at Francis Holland.

Several of the school’s values including compassion, hope and thankfulness, came through in their ideas and discussion. Others, including the importance of family, friends and good mental health were also priorities for many of the students.
