As part of the ongoing careers talks, Year 6 were delighted to welcome Mr Browder to speak to them about his fascinating life. Going against family norms and political ideology, he aimed to become the greatest capitalist in Eastern Europe. This was a huge contrast to his grandfather who was the head of the communist party in America.
He left America for Russia to start his own hedge fund, he then moved into becoming a political activist, setting up the Magnitsky Act, and is now currently on his third venture as an author with two bestselling books. The girls learnt so much information, from life guidance to current affairs.
His overriding advice was to find your passion in life and pursue a job that you love. His life taught the girls not to do what their parents expected of them, but to follow their own passions.
