On Wednesday 21^st February we went on a school trip – we were architects and designers for the morning at the Young V&A. Our workshop was called ‘Think Small’ and we were encouraged to be imaginative and playful in our response to a design brief. We were split into groups of five and six and were given an animal. We were asked to make a list of five things the animal needed i.e., shelter, food, entertainment. We exchanged lists with another group and came up with different designs. Working as a team, we chose the design that we thought would work best and constructed a habitat using lots of different materials.
