Year 5 had a gloriously sunny school trip to the Chelsea Physic Garden on Thursday. They enjoyed many outdoor activities including clay printing with dried plant material, planting seeds and pond dipping. Year 5 managed to find a huge variety of pond life whilst dipping, including water boatmen, newts, leeches and tadpoles. From visiting the Chelsea Physic Garden, the girls learnt lots about habitats and how plants are used for medicine, all very useful information for their biology topic this term. The trip was a great success!
