On Friday 3rd December, Year 5 travelled by tube to the East Wintergarden Hall in Canary Wharf for the Architecture in Schools Award Ceremony.
They were treated to drinks, cookies and popcorn on arrival as well as a joyful rainbow coloured light display installation in honour of all the participants.
The event was a truly multicultural and diverse celebration of London and everyone who calls this city their home. Each of the submissions was impressive in their scale and scope, and every single school without fail created an imaginative vision of sustainability, community, and civic spaces. The future of London looks bright, bold, and green.
Our Year 5 won a place in the Design Development Category – reinforcing the fact that every stage of the design process was undertaken with enthusiasm and creativity. This award is a testament to their dedication, hard work and commitment to working together collaboratively! A big congratulations to them all!
