On Wednesday 15th June, Year 3 ventured to London Zoo. We were extremely lucky with the weather – dare I say, it was almost too hot! The girls enthusiastically took part in the Rainforest Explorer workshop where they learned about the unique rainforest habitat through exploring the immersive exhibit, looking for animals, and taking temperature and humidity readings. They also learned about animal adaptations, the threats that rainforest animals face, and how we can help to conserve this amazing habitat. We even had time to explore other areas of the zoo; the gorilla kingdom, reptile house and penguin beach were firm favourites!
