“The more you read, the more things you know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go” is a famous quote by Dr Suess and it is 100% accurate. The importance of reading skills cannot be stressed enough.

Each week, our Tuesday English lesson is dedicated to developing a specific reading skill; this week our focus was skimming and scanning. This was a highly interactive lesson and the girls enthusiastically participated in various related activities, such as ‘Fastest Finger First’!
