On Thursday morning, Year 2 were transported back to the year of 1893, where they experienced what life would have been like for a Victorian child attending school.
Year 2 were told to sit up straight and not speak unless they were spoken to. They impressed their Victorian teacher with their handwriting and enjoyed practising the three R’s: reading, writing and arithmetic. Although it was a lot of fun, they all breathed a sigh of relief when they returned to their own classroom with Miss Bartlett and Miss Parker (and without the cane)!
