This week, Year 12 and the Art Department embarked on a wonderful and insightful visit to the Tate Modern, where we witnessed the incredible work of Do Ho Sun. His work truly inspired each and every one of us and the stories behind his work captured our attention. With some of us aspiring to become architects, his work allowed us to envision homes through a different perspective. Furthermore, his ideas behind his work had direct links to geography and economics, contrasting to the creativity and use of colour that was portrayed. Due to Francis Holland being situated in a fantastic location, us art students are very fortunate to have many museums and galleries on our doorstep. We are immensely grateful to the Art Department for organising so many inspirational local trips.
