Year 11 students enjoyed a four day Link Programme to get them ready to join the Sixth Form.
The girls enjoyed a leadership workshop run by The Unreasonables, during which they were challenged to re-think their perceptions of what makes a leader. The highlight was a presentation by Charlotte Pearce, an impressive and charismatic 24 year old entrepreneur whose business ventures, such as her very successful company Inkpact, are aimed not only at profitability but on creating social impact too. The girls left the session feeling energised, positive and more confident in their own ability to lead. On the camping trip, the girls developed their team work and survival skills by completing a series of challenges, including cooking their own food. They also enjoyed a joyful sing-a-long around around the campfire. We wish the girls a wonderful long summer and look forward to welcoming them into the Sixth Form in September.
