Last week, three of us had the incredible opportunity to attend and compete in a MACE-style debate, an experience that left us both inspired and grateful. The competition challenged us to think critically, articulate our ideas persuasively, and engage in rigorous intellectual exchange. Advancing to the next round was a proud moment, but what truly stood out was how much we learned throughout the process. From honing our research and argumentation skills to gaining confidence in public speaking, the experience was as enriching as it was enjoyable.  We would not have progressed to the next round if it were not for our brilliant debate coach Maria, who has been teaching us phenomenal skills that have truly advanced our debating technique. We’re deeply thankful for the chance to participate and are excited for what lies ahead in the next stage of the competition.
