This week, Year 1 went on a wonderful trip to The Science Museum to continue their science topic on ‘Materials’. They had a great time exploring all of the different rooms and thinking about how different types of materials have been used throughout history. They were enthralled to see that fabric and foil can be used to protect spacecraft from the sun, and were lucky enough to see a real piece of the moon, as well as role play as pilots in the cockpit of an old airplane. They also enjoyed discovering what they would look like when they get older, and comparing the first computer games to what they play with today.
