On Wednesday 15th October, Year 5 visited Canterbury Cathedral to help us learn even more about our current history topic, medieval England.

It was an action packed day including putting on a full-costume drama production of the murder of Thomas Beckett in the cathedral itself.

We also wrote using quills, made our own Canterbury Cathedral pilgrim badge, climbed on our hands and knees up the Pilgrims Steps, and carved Canterbury stone. An exciting medieval experience we will never forget!
