Tuesday marked World Oceans Day, a day to reflect on the importance of our oceans and the impact of human actions on marine life.

In Year 4, the girls learnt all about the ecological crisis caused by oil spills and the devastating effects they have on ocean plants, animals, and coastlines. They spent their STEAM lesson hard at work, finding the most effective method for cleaning up after a spill and considering the pros and cons of each technique.

It was a messy job with an important lesson!
