Over the weekend, both our U13 and U14  netball teams represented the school at the GSA Netball Tournament. It was a fantastic experience, filled with tough competition, great teamwork and plenty of learning opportunities.

The U13s had a strong first day, performing with confidence and determination to progress through to the Cup competition. Away from the court, they also enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities, including the laser maze and the leap of faith, which added to the fun and sense of team spirit across the weekend.

The U14s faced a challenging opening group stage, which saw them move into the Plate competition. Undeterred, they showed great resilience and went on to win all of their matches, securing their place in the Plate final. In a thrilling and closely contested match, they narrowly missed out by a single goal, finishing runners-up after a 6–7 defeat.

A highlight of the tournament for both squads was the opportunity to hear an inspirational talk from elite netball players Brie Grierson (Jamaican national team and Nottingham Forest) and Peace Proscovia (former Captain of the Ugandan national team). Their words of encouragement and insight into the sport were truly motivating for our players.

Both teams should be incredibly proud of their performances and the way they represented the school throughout the weekend.
