On Monday 20th October Year 13 Spanish students went to see a dramatized reading based on some of the most significant fragments of emblematic plays of the Spanish Golden Age,
such as La vida es sueño (Life is a Dream) and El alcalde de Zalamea (The Mayor of Zalamea) by Calderón de la Barca, and El Perro del hortelano (The Dog in a Manger) by Lope de Vega. This event was an opportunity for students to know more about Spains theatrical tradition.
