FHS’s Accent Catering recently hosted an engaging and informative Sport Nutrition Talk, specifically tailored for the school’s athletes who train before, during, and after school hours. The session, aimed at equipping students with the knowledge to fuel their bodies for peak performance, was both interactive and educational.

During the session, athletes learned the importance of proper nutrition, hydration, and recovery strategies to enhance their athletic performance and maintain energy levels throughout the day. The talk emphasised the role of fuelling before and after training sessions, with tips on how to recover effectively to ensure sustained energy for both sports and academic pursuits.

To reinforce the key points, pupils will see informative posters around the school, highlighting essential guidelines on how to fuel, hydrate, and recover for optimum results.
