And we’re off! Led by the fantastic Mrs Holley, the PE department are taking 20 of our senior netballers in Years 10-12 to South Africa for a 10-day Netball Tour.

We will depart from Heathrow Airport later this evening for an overnight flight to Johannesburg, followed by an onward flight to Cape Town on Saturday morning. Our first stop on arrival in Cape Town is the Geodgedacht Trust, where we have a number of exciting activities planned. The FHS pupils will spend time with the ‘Path onto Prosperity’ girls and play in our first competitive netball fixture.

If you would like to support us, please visit our fundraising page here. The money raised will be used to support the Langa Charities and the Geodgedacht Trust, who provide opportunities for children and young people in rural communities.

Please check the news page of the School website and the FHS PE Instagram page to keep updated with what we get up to whilst on tour. What a fantastic adventure this is going to be for our netballers! #FHSonTour
