During the Easter holiday, a group of FHS girls ventured to Sankt Michael in Lungau, Austria, nestled at the foot of the Grosseck-Speiereck and Obertauern ski areas.

The trip proved a complete success, with three of our absolute beginners being able to ski through narrow, tree-lined runs by the end of the week. The group enjoyed a mix of sunshine and snow, enabling students to explore the area and improve their skiing technique. The ski coaches were friendly, encouraging and great fun to be around.

Pupils spent the evenings bowling, taking quizzes and enjoyed a movie night and a disco. The girls had a fantastic time dancing to their favourite songs and were successful in persuading the teachers to join them on the dance floor! The trip concluded with a laughter-filled awards ceremony.
