16 girls from years 8 and 9 and 3 teachers spent a week skiing in the French Alps over Easter. We went back to Les Menuires near Val Thorens – a favourite destination of ours.

Almost every morning we woke up to brilliant blue skies and the glorious white-capped peaks could be seen from the hotel windows. We were split into three different groups, allowing us to have beginners, intermediate and advanced lessons. We all made excellent progress with some exceptional teaching from the French instructors who turned out to be great fun. At the end of the week everyone was awarded medals for their skiing. We all went home with aching limbs, but big smiles and happy memories.
