This Thursday the Sixth Form were visited by James Maxwell-Scott, a skilled barrister, as part of the Speaker Programme.

He delivered a very insightful talk about the field of law and how law is applicated in real life. There are many of the sixth form looking into becoming lawyers and he thoroughly talked through the skills needed to order to enter this profession, giving us beneficial first-hand experience of what it takes to become a barrister. His role in inquests and Criminal Regulatory law provided the sixth form with an understanding of the intricate details in law. This was an extremely valuable talk and helped members of the sixth form discover whether a career in law was for them.
