We thank Adam Kydd for speaking to our Sixth Formers this week. His insightful talk focused on the upcoming November U.S. Presidential Election, where he discussed the electoral process and key issues such as inflation, abortion, and immigration. Adam highlighted how Biden’s strategic campaigning helped him flip six states in 2020, emphasising the evolving voting patterns and the importance of targeting diverse voting groups. He also explored the advantages and disadvantages of the different campaign tactics employed by both sides. The talk sparked plenty of questions from the audience, and we thank Adam for furthering our understanding of such a pivotal political moment.
