Senior Chamber Choir enjoyed their first outing this school year, singing Choral Evensong in nearby Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Street, with which the school has a long association. Despite continuing major building works outside the interior of the church remains beautiful and provides everyone who sings in it a really generous and exciting acoustic. 28 students turned up (and their parents too! – we were very well supported in the congregation) to sing absolutely beautifully and fill the church with ‘heavenly voices’.
Well done to everyone who contributed (especially to Mr Mercer for supporting us and Inga of course, who played before and after the service and accompanied our hymn-singing). I hope this is the first of many successful performances this coming year!
