Reception have had a fantastic first week as they embarked on their adventure as FHJS girls.

There was certainly a feeling of excitement and anticipation in the playground on Monday morning as we lined up ready for our first day. The girls enjoyed gingerbread man craft and went on a hunt around the school to get familiar with their new surroundings.

The girls have been working hard this week in their first phonics and number lessons and have produced some excellent pieces of work. They have also been getting to grips with their new routines and are becoming experts at lining up and organising themselves for the school day. There have been lots of exciting new lessons already, including ballet, art, library and PE where they met many of their new teachers.

The girls have settled in so well and we are all excited to see what the term ahead brings. Look out for more pictures and updates on Frog next Friday.
