On Wednesday, Reception had an action-packed day at Bocketts Farm. When we arrived, we climbed aboard a tractor trailer and held on tight for a bumpy tour of the surrounding countryside.
Next, we went to feed and stroke the animals in the exploration barn. A huge shout out to our tour guide, Alfie, who kept us on the ball with all his fun facts about life on the farm. After lunch, it was time for the pig race, which was a first for us all. The girls watched the pigs charge around the circuit and cheered on enthusiastically. We then visited the small animal enclosure where we were able to pet some guinea pigs, a rabbit and even a chicken called Snow Cone. We spent the remainder of the afternoon playing in the extensive play area.
We all loved our trip to Bocketts Farm and, as ever, the girls were beautifully behaved.
