As the days are becoming shorter and we are fast approaching winter, Reception have begun to explore hibernation.

We have learnt about how some animals get ready for the colder months and what they might need for the big sleep. This week, the girls made their own hibernation houses out of shoeboxes and filled them with lots of Autumnal objects. We then worked with clay and matchsticks to create some spiky hedgehogs to snuggle inside. We have all thoroughly enjoyed learning about our Autumn topic this term and will be on the hunt for animals preparing to hibernate over half term.
