“Talent without work is nothing more than raw unfinished material”

Well, we worked very, very hard over two sweltering week-ends and although we may have felt raw nothing was unfinished and guests and parents declared it a wonderful evening! Phew!

Sir Peter Wright CBE was on fine form at 90 years of age and quite determined we should all be quite clear in our understanding of exactly why the prizes were given. Finalists were awarded certificates and reminded of the worth in working hard even though ballet was at times agony!

Our Guest of Honour Lady Anya Sainsbury CBE was perfectly delightful telling the tale of Sir Peter running away from Bedales in order to persuade everyone he really needed to dance!
