It is great to once again celebrate a plethora of recent outreach achievements due to the phenomenal efforts of the FHS Community, and look forward to many more to come in 2023.

The Return of the Gallowayman!

We are delighted to have Mr Galloway, our brilliant Head of Outreach, back with us after paternity leave. He is working tirelessly to arrange volunteering placements for all Lower Sixths at Katherine Low Settlement, In-Deep, St. Barnabas’ CE Primary School, St. Matthew’s Primary School and Eden Court Residential Home.

St Barnabas Trips Programme

The generous voluntary contributions we have received from FHS parents have again allowed us to help fund the St. Barnabas’ CE Primary School trips programme, supporting pupils receiving free school meals on their Year 6 residential trip to Sayers Croft Outdoor Learning Centre in Surrey.

Foodbank Success

January’s foodbank generated enough food for 400 people living with food insecurity across Hammersmith and Fulham. Thank you for your support! We have also been given the green light to take pupils to the sorting warehouse during future foodbank collections.

Fundraising for Mvumi School, Tanzania

Following her visit to Tanzania in the Summer term, Kayla Kahwa has now raised over £2,500 for our friends at Mvumi School: Crowdfunding to Support FHS student Kayla’s appeal for Mvumi on JustGiving

Congratulations to Kayla for this fantastic achievement to date. We would be hugely grateful for any further donations to this amazing cause, which will help fund vital improvements in infrastructure and teaching resources at Mvumi.
