On Wednesday 12th November Sarah Mahaffy, Director of Maharani Trading, gave a fascinating lecture about the textiles of India to over 40 Old Girls, staff and friends of Francis Holland.
Sarah wrote of the event:
‘During the autumn and winter of 2015, The V and A put on a fabulous exhibition of the great textiles from India, past and present. Having worked in this area for the past ten years, I was delighted to share what I have learned at the annual OGS lecture in November and to encourage as many people as possible to visit the exhibition.’
