In the half term, 36 players from the FHS netball team embarked on a competitive tour to Barbados, combining high-level play with cultural exchange and skill development. Competing against some of Barbados’s top netball teams, FHS athletes faced fast-paced, skilled opponents, challenging them to adapt and elevate their play. Each game offered valuable experience, allowing the team to refine techniques and expand their strategic abilities in a dynamic new environment.

The tour also included opportunities for cultural exploration and team-building activities. Players participated in an island safari, explored local markets, and relaxed on Barbados’s renowned beaches, experiencing the vibrant culture firsthand. Throughout the tour, FHS athletes demonstrated strong team spirit and camaraderie, supporting one another both on and off the court.

The Barbados tour was an enriching experience, reinforcing FHS’s commitment to instilling a love for movement and physical activity. The team returned home with refined skills, stronger bonds, and a renewed passion for the game.
