U11 Netball v Hornsby House School
The U11 Netball teams travelled to Ironside Sports Centre on Monday to play against Hornsby House, who we have not played before. Our teams earned two losses and a win, but committed to an improved defensive system throughout. We are continuing to drive home the importance of purposeful drive and consistent powerful catching.

U9 Netball v Hornsby House School
11 of our Year 4 netballers also travelled to play against the Hornsby teams, playing a mixed rotation of four matches to achieve two draws, a win and loss. I cannot fault the commitment of our players throughout and was pleased to see how they welcomed the three Hornsby players who offered to make up our numbers for a full match team.

U9 and U11 Westminster Cross Country Event
The Junior Cross Country season began this week with the Westminster Schools Cross-country event in Regent’s Park. The Year 3 and 4 mixed team scored a total of 72 points across a 1km course, and Year 5 and 6 with 99 points on a 1.5km course. The full run down of results will be sent on Monday. Many of the girls will also run on Friday at our Garden House cross country event.

U8 Netball v Princes Gardens Prep
Year 3 have been working hard to introduce Netball to their curriculum for the past six weeks, culminating in our first match against Princes Gardens Prep on Thursday. The attacking passes into space supported our team to a 4-0 win. The whole class gave great support and I know that they are looking forward to getting involved in future matches.
