The girls recently took part in the Morison Verse competition for Years 7 and 8 in which girls recited poems as well as their own compositions.

The mood was dramatic, nostalgic and funny in turns and the girls performed with enthusiasm and confidence. The Year 8 winner was Clara Flatau (‘Merman Will’) and the runner-up was Eloise Burkey with ‘Emmeline Pankhurst’. In Year7 Sophie Bark Jones was the winner, with Alice Bunting and Anna Campbell as runners-up.
