Over the weekend of 12th and 13th November, Battersea Park once again hosted the Independent Schools Show.

A multitude of schools were represented at the show, which also featured talks in the Education Theatre throughout both days. On Sunday afternoon, Lucy Elphinstone, Headmistress of Francis Holland, Sloane Square, graced the stage alongside William Petty, Director of Tuition at Bonas MacFarlane Education.

They discussed the application process and preparing your child for entry to independent schools. Lucy emphasised the importance of choosing a school with your child in mind, and of ensuring that the school you choose will support and nurture your son or daughter’s well-being throughout their time there. It was an engaging talk which raised some very important points about school choice, the application process and children’s mental health.
