The colourful stalls of the Charity and Enterprise Fair tempted us all to spend our money willingly this afternoon. The hard work that has gone into creating such carefully made items and cleverly thought out games could not be more evident.

How wonderful to support Safe Passage and Bees and Refugees – I have just been watching the money rolling in and am sure that we will have a large number of donations to announce next week. Well done the most magnificent efforts by all those teams of stall holders!

They have become philanthropic entrepreneurs who are incredibly capable of selling their goods with such charm and panache that it has been hard to refuse buying more beautiful items and delicious treats. And of course, thank you to all those willing customers too. What a way to see out the first week of this half term!
