Once again, the Infant Christmas Tea Party was a huge hit with the girls! The decorations were impressive, festive music was playing and this year there was even a huge roaring fire for the girls to get cosy in front of! It all started with the girls coming in to the Senior Hall to ice their gingerbread men which they were soon desperate to eat! Sandwiches, Christmas jellies and fruit kebabs were then handed around for all to enjoy.
After tea, the girls were invited onto the dance floor to join in with some party games. Miss Pople ran the musical statues, Miss Jackson was in charge of the much loved dance competition and Mrs Grieg held the āover and underā balloon competition!
After all this excitement and joy, you would not have thought it could get any betterā¦but it could! From across the playground the girls heard the sound of bells, and much to their delight, who should appear from around the corner but Father Christmas himself! And lucky for the girls, he had a big sack of presents for all.
This event would not be possible without the many parent volunteers who came to help. We are so thankful to you.
