The Higher Education Evening on Wednesday 5th March was an inspirational and exciting event!

Year 12 parents and students gathered in the Senior Hall for refreshments before hearing all about the many higher education options available including universities in the UK, the US and Europe, art and drama schools, degree apprenticeships and gap years from the Director of Futures and Innovation, Mrs Wilkes. Pupils were also given a fantastic Futures Booklet offering important guidance and advice.

Our Head of Sixth Form, Miss Stansfield, offered gems of wisdom about university preparation and the importance of considering different factors (such as the location of universities) when thinking about which university to apply for, and our Head of History, Miss Boon, delivered a hugely informative talk on the Oxbridge application process. To finish off the evening, pupils and parents gathered in the senior hall to ask any further questions and queries.
